outline
- Is Joy happiness
- Is Joy relief
- Our Joy is in Christ
Reflection Questions
- How can we practically maintain a posture of worship and praise even when we are in the midst of a prolonged period of sadness or “toiling,” when relief seems far away
- Considering that “happiness can be a component of joy,” how do you personally differentiate between celebrating a moment of worldly happiness (like a new job or a child’s graduation) and worshipping the eternal, underlying joy found only in Christ?
