Eyes on Jesus
Mark 9:14-29
David Brink | Minister
Jesus just showed His glory to three of His disciples then came down from the mountain to find the rest of His disciples struggling. They’ve failed to cast out the demon from a boy and the father is now turning to Jesus for help. This account is a reminder of what happens when we take our eyes off Jesus, and the father of this boy provides a good picture of what our posture toward Jesus should be.

Reflection Questions

  1. What are the results of trying to cruise through life in our own power?
  2. If we have taken our eyes off Jesus how can we refocus?
