Chapter three of 2 Corinthians has three major sections, The first surround the validation of Paul and his ministry. In the second section, the apostle is concerned with the boldness of how ministry should be presented. The last section deals with the transforming power the Holy Spirit has in the life of the believer. Paul states his confidence is based on the fact that God himself makes his servants competent to carry out the tasks He assigns to them.
